I get up with the roosters these days since there's enough light to surf at like 5:30am. But that doesn't really accomplish much if there isn't anything to surf or, as has been the past couple of days, the conditions don't deliver as anticipated.
I spocked it Monday and eventually went home and back to bed. What little was out there was getting gobbled up by a [modest] high tide. I gave it a go again this morning and actually paddled out. There were lots of little windswell peaks but, again, it was so weak it couldn't break through the growing tide. I caught a couple of short rides and called it a morning. I'm hoping a lower tide at dawn tomorrow will loosen things up.
Will you townies stop throwing up in the Rosecrans parking garage after the bars close? Srsly. Sick.
