If I did the math correctly -which, based on how well I'm able to help my 7th grade daughter with her homework, is probably a far fetched notion- I've had 15 sessions the past 21 days. That's a lot of surf for a working man during Winter when pre-work sessions are few and far between due to the lack of light.
Only two of them were surfed at locations other than El Porto and, let me tell you, I stuck it out at Porto in some challenging conditions. I never thought I'd see myself type that I recently surfed Porto more than a few times in overhead conditions. I snapped a board, yes, but it was worth it. Most of this was surfed in some ideal weather conditions, though. It's really hard to complain when it's 72 on the sand in the middle of Winter WITH offshore winds (if any) through most of the day.
Also, Jaime Perez ('member him?) paid Porto a visit. What the hell's going on at Venice Pier that had Jaime ditching it????

Oh, to hell with all of that.
What's your thoughts on this new Van Halen track?
Growing on me. Hell, my kids are singing it. I'm not going to judge the upcoming album by Tattoo, though.
Given what I know is on the album (re-dos of unreleased old tracks), I think I will be extremely stoked with what they deliver.
Way better than anything Sammy put out with them for damn sure, if not one for the ages.
I like how "novice" is lined through. =)..
Incidentally, I like the way you have structured your site, it is super and very easy to follow. I have bookmarked you and will be back regularly. Thank you
