Happy New Year everyone. The first day of 2012 for me started off with a surf session. A
very short surf session. On the first wave of the first morning of 2012 my board broke. I'm not sure what sort of precedent this sets -if any- but it'll be interesting to see how this year pans out.

No board broken...but driven deep by an overhead set wave that still has my nose dripping saltwater! Broke boards just means...new beginnings...with a new board! :-)
Bummer! The first day of 2012 started with a mat session for me. Don't know what that means for the year.
