Lonesome

Today's session was a lot better than yesterday [which I didn't bother blogging about]. I chose to bypass El Porto and look for something a little less punishing, so, I snuggled up all by my lonesome at a nondescript peak off the beaten (but well-traveled) path. Just me, 3-4ft waves and probably 1000 or so spectators since air traffic at LAX had all the planes coming in from the West due to the ridiculous offshores. Ever two minutes there was a plane full of people slowly gliding by about 150ft above me.

Pretty much every wave was a blind take off. Like I said, the winds were strong and created a spray that felt like LACFD was sitting on the shore pointing a hose at me. Still, it was nice to be the lineup as opposed to being in the lineup.
